microdelivery facial wash
Rated 1 out of 5 by CFrieberts from inconsistent quality - not enough scrub I've been using this for years, but unfortunately I'm on the hunt for something new since the quality of this product has declined in recent years. Each bottle has a different consistency, and in the past few orders, the scrub is barely noticeable. I've compared it to my mom's and my sister's - theirs are significantly thicker and the scrub is rougher, which is what i need with my dry skin. In the past year alone, I've had both the 8 oz. (for the sink) and 16 oz. (for the shower), and both are the incorrect consistency. I'm extremely disappointed with the quality and the money I've wasted hoping the next bottle will be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MonkeyNHB from Great Facial Scrub I have been using the Purity and moisturizer for about a month now. My face was missing something. I remembered receiving this product as a sample and decided to give it a try. Horrible, horrible smell, worse than the moisturizer, but you get use to it. This has to be the absolute best exfoliating product that I have ever used. The scrub particles in this are as fine as sand. What I really love is that it is gentle enough to use with my Clarisonic. Purity, this exfoliater, and the hope in a jar are 3 items I just cannot ever be without. You will love this scrub. The smell, not so much, but it works great so who cares about a scent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Vinobear from Mixed Feelings for Me I love Philosophy products and I purchased this in the large 32oz size during a bundle sale at another store thinking it was a body wash. I find that the consistency of the liquid to the abrasive is off. It might be because I'm used to scrubs feeling more "scrubby" while this one feels runny and I have to press to feel the exfoliation. I suspect it's this way so that it's gentle enough to use everyday. I'm also extremely biased now that I'm a Purity Made Simply addict. That being said, I wouldn't not recommend the product, I just feel the consistency was off for me and that's why Philosophy has a wide range of products since everyone's tastes are different.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Patsy from NOT THE ORIGINAL FORMULA! Coty has purchased philosophy. Imagine the new owners deciding one of the beloved, and best selling products needs a complete reformulation. Imagine. That is what has been done with this product. It smells awful and is SO thick, it is difficult to get out of the bottle. After using the Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash for years, I am stunned that this product has totally been reformulated and not stated as such on this site. I'm on the search for another product to use. This is awful. If Purity is reformulated, I will be devastated. I totally do not understand this huge change in formula. Also, I wrote Coty. No response at all, which speaks for itself. Buyer Beware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lis04 from can't start the day without this one Microdelivery was my first introduction to the philosophy products, at the recommendation of Ulta sales reps when I inquired about exfoliating scrubs. This is the first truly daily exfoliator that isn't harsh on my skin. I cannot start the day without it...in fact I once forgot to pack it for a week long business trip and made sure I could find an Ulta to purchase it the second the plane landed. The only thing that annoys me is when the cap clogs, but honestly a cap is the most effective delivery of this (a pump would miss out on the last tail end of the bottle and you don't want to waste a molecule of this product).

Rated 1 out of 5 by sguenther from Don't bother with this product I have used the Microdelivery exfoliating wash for 5+ years on a daily basis. I Loved the way the little grains made my face feel and my skin shine. The last 2 HUGE bottles have been awful, no graINS IN THEM TO SLUFF OFF THE DEAD SKIN. i RETURNED THE LAST BOTTLE WHICH COST ME $10.00 TO MAIL TO PHILOSOPHY IN aRIZONA and they did replace it which was very nice. Now I have been using this bottle for about 1 month and no grains again. Why pay the extra money for this product when it is only a light wash and does not do what it says it will do? Walgreens has a better product for a fraction of the price. This is the only product I have ever had issue with in the entire Philosophy line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shannon from amazing! i love this product!!!!!! i have had acne for about 10 years, and nothing had really worked for me until i tried this. this product is marketed as anti-aging, but it has worked wonders for my acne! it really cleans deep down in my pores but does not irritate my skin like other scrubs i have tried; it's very gentle. ever since i have used it every morning (about 6 months), my skin has cleared dramatically! i looked up its ingredients, and apparently borago officinalis seed oil is supposed to be great for troubled, acne-prone skin. it has also helped to fade my acne scars. i will never ever stop using this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeffnerA from Great product that is gentle enough for sensitive skin! I have VERY sensitive, dry skin and recently was having issues with breakouts and generally looking not very smooth. I've used Purity face wash for 10+ years and was trying all types of exfoliators. Typically most exfoliators are too rough on my skin causing more issues than good. I saw the Microdelivery face wash and thought I would give it a try. What great results! After just a couple of days I noticed my skin looked brighter and smoother. Many of the blemishes I had been dealing with were fading. This product is gentle enough for my sensitive skin to use once a day in the morning and Purity at night. Thanks for the great product!
