Please listen to customersThis and also the L'homme, especially, performance is terrible. I am sad because these are absolutely the best in the designer world. Please stop being cheap and get these things perform..

Terrible Performance! Was excellent...YSL has redone this scent multiple times every time reducing its performance. Bring the greatness back YSL for now i am advising everyone to stay away! Buy older bottles check letter for batch year code- third digit. H- 2011, J- 2012, K-2013
L, M, are last good ones. H-K preferred. 2009 version is the original and very rare- 4 digit code. Intense and Parfum versions etc are totally different animal.
YSL- Please bring back the magic! Oak moss is missing.

Amazing date night fragrance!I can't stress this enough; this cologne is one of the best date night scents that I have ever used! It opens up with a nice peppery and vanilla sort of vibe, emphasizing its dark tone. It's quite strong, but it has a sophisticated and mysterious vibe to it, so that even when it projects strongly, it still allows the scent to be very unique, unlike every other generic smelling date fragrances. La Nuit might be too dark and professional smelling for everyday uses, but at night, it's a killer.
One great thing about this fragrance is that it's not overly used. Uniqueness is very crucial in today's world where many average consumers purchase fragrance based on its popularity. Sure, popularity is great as it indicates a successful fragrance, but in order to be very successful, it must've been around for a while and been purchased by many people. This may not be important to some people, but personally I wouldn't want to smell like every other guy that I walk past, especially someone's ex, so that's a plus.
This scent typically lasts around four hours on me before turning into a skin scent, which is decent considering I have dry-ish skin. I imagine that it will last at least twice as long on people with a bit more oily skin. You don't have to respray at all if you plan on using it for night-outs, but I keep an atomizer on me just in case I feel like respraying.
Despite the success of the regular La Nuit, Le Parfum is a lot less popular, which I find to be a good thing as it allows more room for individuality. In my opinion, treat this fragrance as something used for special occasions; that way, whenever you smell it, it'll remind you of happy moments.
Huge props to YSL for developing such a wonderful fragrance!
