Not as moisturizing as it suggests....
doesn't feel oily, but does feel a bit sticky. Not a fabulous product, but not bad either, just okay.

Not what’s expected...
This gel is more globby and sticky than a hydrating concentrate. I use it underneath serums and moisturizers so it isn’t too troublesome used like that, but on it’s own it doesn’t feel very hydrating at all. Just after it’s been applied to the skin, it can very quickly become a thick gooey layer so work quickly and rub it into the skin entirely before stopping.

Great product, I love it.
I love this product, it's easy to apply and makes my skin feel perfect with or without a supplemental moisturizer.

I love the enhanced hydration from this product
First off, I would just like to ask what the heck is going on at Clinique’s HQ. Why are they getting rid of their top selling Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief?!?! I am livid. I had a few jars stashed away so I wasn’t aware of this unbelievable poor business move until about a couple weeks ago. (But I’ve known about a product that is an almost identical dupe for Moisture Surge. It’s not pink but the texture is the same and there’s a dry skin option too, which is similar to the MS Intense version) Anyways, back to this. What I’ve been trying and liking to do with this supercharged concentrate is use it with my Moisture Surge Intense and it gives the Moisture Surge Intense, which is creamier, a higher level of hydration. The two mixed together at a 2:1 ratio of supercharged concentrate to MS Intense gives you something very simiar to the original Moisture Surge (that is now discontinued). To use these two products to make something very similar to the MS Overnight Mask, just add 2 times the amount of MS Intense to the Supercharge Concentrate. I haven’t had to buy the Overnight Mask (which is amazing) for months and months after blending those two products in the correct ratio.
Now, about the 2 products I bought to take the place of Moisture Surge....they are Marcelle’s LumiPower and LumiPower for dry skin. These gel creams are 3-in-ones....a day cream, a night cream and an eye cream. And I will suggest a fourth use, around the lip contour. Those products are phenomenal and much less pricey than Clinique products. Sorry so long but I really hope this helps given all the confusion and changes going on at Clinique lately.
