My lovely ringlets!I started she's moisture products 2 weeks ago and love it. At frist I was said because this made my hair waxy, but it defined my ringlets and took the frizz out! Even after 3 days of raining. I ran across a YouTube video today and was shock because the lady in the video used very, very little. So I guess I was over doing it as I'm used to using a palmful of product! I also use the conditioner and water in a spry bottle as a leave in and to detangle. It's great too if you don't have time for a shower just spray and comb/brush and your hair looks washed! I would describe my hair as the kind you thank of when you thank of the Irish, only it's brown not red, lol!

Moisturizing, but too greasyMy cousin wanted to use this product in my hair, and I had heard nothing but good things about this. To fully saturate my very thick, dry, almost bra strap length hair that appears to possibly be 4a/4b she ended up using almost the whole jar in one use. Although it did a good job a moisturizing my hair, it is WAY too greasy. I have acne-prone skin that just got over a really bad breakout, and this made my break out just by wearing my hair down for two days. I was also constantly washing my hands because they got really greasy just from touching my hair. Although this might work for others, this is not the product for me.

DisappointedI have been using this product for years now and it has been one of my reliable staple products. I recently repurchased my umpteenth tub but to my surprise most of the ingredients were completely changed. I decided to still give it a try. Upon trying it I found that my curls did not feel as moisturized and shiny as they were before. This is a complete let down for me, I will have to find a new replacement for the smoothie. I am furthermore disappointed given the fact that SM is replacing ingredients and yet is not updating it on their website. I feel lied to by this company and completely let down.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!I am so glad I tried this product! I have used the Coconut & Hibiscus shampoo and conditioner alone but now using this curl enhancer afterwards, my hair looks AMAZING! My hair was extremely damaged before using Shea Moisture products and this curl enhancing smoothie is now in my list of hair care favorites! My curls looks amazing and feel super soft! My pro tip is to put about a quarter sized amount in your hair right after getting out of the shower, while your hair is soaking wet. Then, let your hair air dry and BAM! Beautiful curls!
I received this for free in an Influenster VoxBox to test and review.

OLD FORMULA IS 5 STAR, NEW FORMULA IS 1!!!!I absolutely DESPISE companies who try to cut costs by cheapening their products! The older formula, as one reviewer posted, is still circulating in some areas. The butters are all listed at the beginning of the ingredients list, as opposed to COCONUT WATER?! What on earth is WATER going to do for my frizzy, uncontrollable hair? Obviously, as I’m sure this company well knows, the butters are what sold this product and what got everybody hooked. It was a saving grace for so many 3b curly girls like myself, as well as 3a-3c, etc. PLEASE bring back the old formulation, if you won’t do that, then change the definition of what this product is for, and DROP THE PRICE. It is subpar!

excellent cream, long lastingThe curl enhancing smoothie works wonders in my hair, been using this stuff for nearly 3 years, works wonders for fall/winter weather on me. I usually bounce back and forth using this or the curl & style milk. The way that I use this is as a touch up in between washes. So if my hair is a little dry, I scrunch a little of this in my hair to revive my curls. Usually, I can hold on to this jar for a very long time. I used to use this as a cream after shampoo and condition then add gel, but I have been using other products that do double duty now, so this is just an in between washes moisturizer. I didn't like the smell at first but when it has absorbed in the hair, I can't smell it anymore unless I actually sniff a hair strand.

The bestI’ve used this product plenty of times before and the first thing that caught my attention was the smell. I love good smells. Then, I was extremely satisfied with how it defined my curls. No matter if my hair was dry or damp, it enhanced my curls. I have very full, thick, & dry hair and every Time I use it, it doesn’t let me down. I prefer this over an eco gel because it does not leave residue or a lot of product build up in my hair. I’ll cry if Shea Moisture discontinues this product. (The only downside is that I have to use a lot in one application because my hair is thick, full, and long so I’ll be looking forward to a bigger quality)
