Strange stuffI have other cream eye shadows (Maybelline), this is nothing like that. This stuff is the strangest consistency, I'm still trying to figure out how to apply it. lol
It looks solid/creamy in the pot, but when you try to apply it, it comes off/out kind of flaky? It's hard to explain. Think of gold-leaf. I tried just swiping my finger across like I do with other cream eye shadows. No dice. I got a glob of sparkles. Ok, tried a brush, that worked a little better.
It's more like a glitter than a solid color, just as an FYI. I used it straight up, not over top of a color or anything. It's very bright and vibrant once it's on though. It sheds, A LOT. I had sparkles everywhere. It's a little juvenile for what I was looking to achieve. I also ordered this in the gold shade, and it's a little more subdued than the silver.
(I've removed it for the night, and I'm LOL'ing as I write this review because I think I might even be allergic to it, or I'm rejecting the texture because my eyelids are kind of raw (and I didn't over-rub when removing it) and it feels a little blistery. Could only happen to me!)
If you're looking for a nice solid cream eye shadow, this isn't it. If you want something funky, chunky and sparklie- suuuure, give this a whirl.
