Cucumber Paper Mask
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sakura1061 from This mask has menthol The burning everyone is talking about is menthol. If you remember those lip glosses in the late 90s that had menthol, think that but all over your face. It definitely surprised me at first because it’s strong but there are less chemicals in these than many of the other brands I’ve tried. These reviews reporting burning are not accurate. Menthol definitely does tingle and som may be more sensitive to it but it doesn’t burn like the sun or heat. Just a nice invigorating tingle. Did wake me up a bit so maybe not Best right before bed but was very enjoyable and made my skin look and feel great

Rated 1 out of 5 by Annie6814 from OUCH! I was very excited to try this product, especially when I read they did not test on animals and that this was a mask for sensitive skin... but let me tell you this mask burnt my skin SO BADLY that my eyes literally began to water! The only thing "soothing" about this mask was taking it off. I tried to tough it out, but I had to take it off after 2 minutes. TERRIBLE PRODUCT. A while back I tried the "say yes to grapefruit" make-up remover wipes and the same burning feeling occurred. I had hopes that the cucumber wouldn't do this, but I was very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dockery96 from Burned my face and left my face red and sore in the shape of the mask I have very acne prone skin and suffer from very sore cystic acne so anything with calming in the name I’m a fan of. I tried this for 2 minutes and felt a burning sensation increase and increase until I had to take it off and my skin was left incredibly red and burning hot. I have used the so cucumber moisturiser before and had the same reaction but just assumed it was a problem with me mixing products. I don’t recommend this at all. I have had nothing but problems and I don’t plan on using anything from this company again as my poor skin can’t take it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fc1506 from No to this mask I am a big fan of sheet masks. I keep my fridge stocked with them and I've tried many different brands and formulas. I mostly stick with Asian masks (Korean and Japanese). I bought this on sale at Target because I was traveling and needed something to soothe my dry skin from the airplane. I don't have sensitive skin but I couldn't last more than 2 minutes with this on before ripping it off and running to the bathroom to rinse my face. Omg the burning was indescribable and my whole face turned red. In 2 minutes. Just say no to this mask!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mrsrobbins18 from Wonderful, but maybe not best for sensitive skin There is definitely a burn but I think that's because my skin is hyper sensitive. It isn't unbearable but I'm wondering how skin will react after I take it off. I still have 2 min left and the burning sensation has drastically reduced. I love the scent of the mask and the ease of applying it.... Update: After taking off the mask I noticed redness but again, I have extremely sensitive skin so I wouldn't use my review as a baseline especially if you have normal skin. I love the way my face feels, I'm just hoping the redness goes down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ari671 from Not everyone's face is the same! I have always had such sensitive skin. My acne has been bad since my freshman year of high school. After using this mask, my face has never felt more relaxed. It does have a freezing feeling at first, but after the 1st minute it's all fine and dandy. My face felt so refreshed I didn't want to take it off after 10 minutes (but make sure you do!) It calmed down a lot of the redness and inflammation going on. I recommend to anyone who is dealing with redness, inflamed skin, or just needs to relax their face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Marv from IT BURNED Disappointed in this mask. Loved the charcoal one but as a person with sensitive skin and has a difficulty with trying new/changing products, i really wanted to get cucumber masks to soothe out my red sensitive skin. Unfortunately, i didnt get a tingle, what i got ended up being a really bad burning sensation about a few seconds into applying the mask on. The burning sensation lasted for a good 5 minutes after i quickly took off the mask. Really disappointed and regretting that i bought two of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz419 from Relaxing and amazing. I purchased this mask from Wal-Mart, along with some of the other types. I deep cleansed my face and then exfoliated before putting on the mask. I put the mask on and relaxed for 10 minutes. The mask gave off a gentle tingling that felt wonderful, and the smell is great too. I am also in the middle of an acne break-out, so this mask also helped to reduce the redness of my acne. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the sticky residue, but every thing else makes up for it.
